i work by creating a relationship and friendship with my clients.
Working closely with an artist, you need to have a synergy with them. Whether it be promoting, live agenting or managing, there has to be a passion from both parties as success depends on shared passion and vision.
With every project I take on, I aim to match the passion of the artist. Many perceive the role of a manager to be in the background, but for me the manager should be as much a part of the band as the musicians. I carry this ethos into other aspects of my freelance work.
I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree in Arts Management with Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. My studies — spanning finance, project planning, management, and tour planning — have given me strong academic foundations and industry experience through hands-on placements.
